2nd Annual Banquet - HUGE Success!

The 2nd Annual CBQF Banquet on Sept 27th ended up to be a HUGE hit! Currently, we are still adding up the dollar amounts of what the banquet brought in, but all indacations are, we made more money than the 1st banquet. With less people! The TRAC facility provided us with another GREAT venue, along with really good food. I received numerous comments saying the $30 dinner ticket price was cheap, due to the amount of food, and most of our attendees had seconds or thirds even. Bellys full, we moved on to the auctions, silent and live. Let me be the first to say, Tony Martin & Brian Young will be comp'd tickets every year the CBQF has a banquet. PURE ENTERTAINMENT! Brian Skeels and his daughter walked out the big winners of the banquet, as they won the puppy from Ember Ridge Kennels, a dog training collar, and a 12 ga Cintori from the banquet key item! Rose Berg did a wonderful job with the banquet items and organization, and compared to our first banquet, we were WAY ahead of the game! Austin Booker did an AMAZING job auctioneering, and we have already locked him up for next years banquet. Bob Broussard did an awesome job with taking photo's of the event, which didn't happen in year 1, and last but not least ... "Thank You to the Yakima Chapter of PF for donating their gambling license to the event, so we could have a great banquet!"

The CBQF will be attending The Yakima Sportsman Show Feb 13th-15th, 2009. We will probably be having a joint booth with the Yakima Chapter of Pheasants Forever for the event.
